Annie was a movie about a young orphan girl who lived in an orphanage run by a woman who treated the orphans like slaves. She gets the chance to go live in a big mansion with millionaire Oliver Warbucks and during her stay there she wins the hearts of the staff and Oliver himself.

After Annie, Albert Finney went on to appear in a number of movies, including Erin Brockovich (2000), Traffic (2000), and Big Fish (2003). He is currently working on several movies.

After Annie, Carol Burnett went on to appear in several tv movies, including Life of the Party: The Story of Beatrice (1982), Between Friends (1983), and Plaza Suite (1987). She also appeared as Eunice Higgins on the sitcom "Mama's Family" (1983-1985), and made several guest appearances on the tv show "Mad About You" (1997-1999). Recently, she has appeared on the ABC show "Desperate Housewives" (2006) and is currently working on a movie.

Ann Reinking as Grace Farrell

After Annie, Ann Reinking went on to appear in the 1983 tv movie A Night on the Town. She made a guest appearance on "The Cosby Show" (1987), and she recently appeared in the filmed broadway production of Fosse (2001). She has also performed on Broadway many times. She is married to Peter Talbert and has one child.

Tim Curry has been a very successful actor. After Annie, he went on to appear in numerous movies, including Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), The Three Musketeers (1993), Charlie's Angels (2000), and Scary Movie 2 (2001) just to name a few. He has also made guest appearances on numerous tv shows including "Wiseguy" (1989), "Roseanne" (1992), "Family Affair" (2002), and "Will & Grace" (2004). He is currently working on several movies.

Bernadette Peters as Lily St. Regis

After Annie, Bernadette Peters went on to appear in several movies, including Pink Cadillac (1989), Alice (1990), and It Runs in the Family (2003). She has made guest appearances on several tv shows, including "The Closer" (1998), "Frasier" (2001), and "Ally McBeal" (2001). Bernadette has also appeared on Broadway several times, and most recently appeared on the Joan Hamburg Radio Show (2005).

After Annie, Aileen had to turn down several roles that she was offered, due the the contract she was under to make more Annie films, which never happened. But over the last several years, Aileen has been performing in various Broadway shows and is currently working on a new movie.

Geoffrey Holder as Punjab

After Annie, Geoffrey Holder went on to appear in several tv movies, including Alice in Wonderland (1983) and Ghost of a Chance (1987). Most recently, he was the narrator in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005).
